I´m here now for 3 weeks and I like it!!
The buildings are nice, the nature is nice and the people are nice.
Food is expensive but dumpster diving is a good way to get cheap food.
Supermarkets here don´t put locks on their containers and they throw a lot of good food away, so we take that. It´s a pity they don´t throw alcohol in there, because it´s really really expensive here.
But maybe it´s good: I wanted to do different things than in Enschede, so not drinking to much is one of them.
I allready collected wood and the sculpture you can see on the pictures is like a warming up. I need to fix the chainsaw here, because it's totally fucked. Need to buy a new chain (offcourse with the money from school).
Tonight we are going to watch a documentary about David Nash, so I hope it will get more people interested in wood(en sculptures).
I also have some connections with the architecture department. There is one guy who wanted to show me some places where I can get wood from and maybe even can work.
I'm also participating in a art and common space workshop and we are going with the class to Istanbul the last week of March.
Also Inga is coming in April and this makes me really happy:)
And oh yeah: I will put some more photo's on my blog soon!
